Although aimed at different age groups, all three combine drill with fun activities and Christian values. This allows us to develop ‘Christian manliness’ by promoting habits such as obedience, reverence, discipline and self respect. Badges are awarded to the boys as they complete various tasks to recognise and reward their progression.
Throughout the year, we attend various events. These include formal events such as parades, church services (including our enrolment service) and the annual scripture test. However we also attend several informal events such as various sporting tournaments, the occasional outing and a weekend away for the Company Section.
Our annual display, allows the boys to showcase their skills and talents in front of their parents and friends. This usually involves a mixture of drill, physical activities and comedy sketches. Not only are the boy’s talents recognised at the display, but they are also rewarded as various prizes are distributed each year.
