Good News Club
Sundays, Second half of church services
A child-friendly alternative to our Sunday sermons.
During our Sunday services, we run a Good News Club for children from three to seven years old. After singing the children’s hymn, the children can leave for a child-friendly programme while the adults listen to the sermon in the meetinghouse.
We begin by singing some choruses, followed by learning a memory verse from the Bible. We have a quiz, with questions based on the children’s address. The rest of the time is spent on an activity sheet with word searches, puzzles and colouring.
Parent’s can collect children from Good News Club after the main service is over.
During summer months with fewer children the Good News Club may not meet, however activity sheets and pens should be available for children in the hallway.
