In Ruth chapter 4 Boaz fulfils his promise to redeem Ruth and continue the family line. A loving act which reflected the characteristics and would eventually lead to the birth of our eternal Redeemer.
Ruth 3 speaks of God's provision. On Naomi's initiative, Ruth goes to the threshing floor in search of her kinsman redeemer Boaz, who reacts with integrity and provides for her.
Ruth chapter 2 records how Ruth meets her future husband Boaz while gleaning the fields of her hometown Bethlehem. An encounter that would reflect the generosity of God's covenant grace.
