The Tenth CommandmentFriday 20th November 2020
The tenth commandment forbids us from coveting the lifestyle or possessions of others. We should be content with our own situation, and recognise any good thing we have is an undeserved blessing from God.
Exodus 20 v17Philippians 4 v11-13
Exodus 20:17
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Philippians 4:11–13
11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
