Apologies, but we couldn't display this passage from ESV.org. Please read Acts 26

Teaching by Rev. William Moody

Paul shares his testimony about how he became a Christian to King Agrippa and it included his life before conversion (v4-11), how he was changed (v12-18) and his life after conversion (v19-23).

Sharing our testimony is a powerful Gospel weapon and following Paul’s pattern of sharing the life before, how the change happened and life after is good practice.

While Paul is sharing about his life he is still very Christ centred, seeking to teach about Jesus and to glorify Him (v23). Paul did not want the attention to be on himself but on Jesus. In sharing the story of how we have become Christians, we must seek for the attention not to be on us but on the greatness of what Christ has done. Our lives should all point to Jesus.

The message of Jesus’ death was seen as foolishness by Festus (v24). Paul is not distracted but seeks to push on seeking to persuade his listeners of the need to respond (v27-29).

Paul’s life was at risk, but his great passion was still to see people won for Christ. We need to ask how passionate are we in seeing people won for Christ? Paul’s life was sold out for Jesus and the gospel.
