Apologies, but we couldn't display this passage from ESV.org.
Please read Exodus 14.

God is not finished with Pharaoh yet and the hardness of his heart causes him to pursue the Israelites (v1-9). Even after all he and his people had suffered the grip of sin causes Pharaoh to still think he can take on God and win.

The Israelites when they see the approaching army of the Egyptians instead of responding in faith allow fear to take over (v10-12).

Moses calls them to remain firm and see God’s salvation at work (v13-14). In God’s word to Moses there is rebuke at their cries which came from a lack of faith (v15-18). God moves the pillar of cloud so that now it is between the Egyptians and the Israelites (v19-20). God is in control and God will protect His people with His great power.

Moses then stretches out his hand and miraculously the Red Sea is parted in two for the Israelites to cross on dry land (v21-22). The Egyptians pursued only to get stuck and destroyed (v23-29).

The Israelites are saved and the Egyptian army which had caused so much suffering to them over the years is destroyed (v30). God had brought the Israelites into this impossible situation for Him then to do the impossible and reveal the greatness of His power (v31). Take time to speak to God about this.
